Introduction to Kinstretch
Your first kinstretch class concentrating on the shoulders and the hips using the functional range conditioning system.
-
Functional Range Conditioning:Knee Flexion
Using 2 minutes of progressive articular isometric loading, followed by 2 minutes of regressive articular isometric loading, followed by passive 2 minutes finished off with kinstretch movements.
-
Spinal CARs
Using breathing and isometrics each section of the spine is segmented using controlled articular rotations
-
Isometric pathways
Kinstretch is a method of functional range conditioning in a group setting. This is one of the many pathways to move from one position to the next.
-
Advanced Loaded CARS spine and knees quadriceps
Advanced application of CARS with weights and higher irradiation maximal output in sticky positions
-
Introduction to Kinstretch and CARs
This class introduces concepts to controlled articular rotations and the kinetic stretching that forms kinstretch classes
-
Eccentric Exercises for Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy - Hamstring Maintenance
The Hamstring module will cover rehabilitation of the hamstring proximal and distal Tendinopathy. With progressive exercises each exercise will move from rehabbing to strengthening and maintaining.Strength, mobility ,functional flexibility will be the focus.
-
Hip Extension Active Range Hold
An important progression with Hamstring rehabilitation is ensuring the hip joint and the knee joint has excellent articular joint space. In this second video of the hamstring rehabilitation series extension in the hips are addressed.
-
Progressive Articular Loading-Hamstring control with knee flexion
In the third instalment we now move down to distal hamstring Tendinopathy and knee flexion to increase hamstring concentric control until we progress to heel touching the buttocks in end range.Bands and weights can progressively increase the load.
-
Neurological programming of the hamstrings-Irradiated Pulses
Once the three hamstring exercises are done and the progressions show body control of moving the hamstring in eccentric and concentric loaded positions with strength and stability during loading its time to move to the strengthening phases. To prepare the hamstring for quick explosive movements ...
-
Multi Joint Kinstretch Exercise:Two Leg Table
As one develops more joint space, the next stage is to articulate several joints and start gaining active flexibility and strength in different positions.
-
Hamstring 3 step Progression Stretch Program
A first phase 3 step process to get the hamstring to better release due to prior injuries or proximal Tendinopathy.
-
IT band Stretch no Stretch
Dealing with IT connective tissue by creating more hip and knee mobility as well as creating stretch in the tissue that the IT band connects to.
-
Kinstretch Class:Upper Body Focus/Shoulders,Scapula,Wrists
A full 45 minute class including a warm up CARs and then a focus on greater range and strength in shoulders and wrists.
-
Kinstretch Class:Lower Body Focus/Hips
A brief CARs opening with medium irradiation.A concentrated effort to increase range and strength in the range achieved for internal, external, flexion and extension of the hip.
-
Hip and Spinal CARs for tight lower back
A routine specific to engaging the lower back and hips to take pressure off of sciatica.A great way to gain thoracic movement which when it is blocked will put pressure on the lower back and hips.
-
Kinstretch Class:Splits Focus
Kinstretch class with a variation of CARS to begin class. Then a class designed to lengthen and strengthen the hips and thighs for the sitting splits
-
Kinstretch Mini Class:Figure 4 and Half 90 Base Stretch focus
Using base stretches of figure 4 and Half 90 the internal and external rotation of hip and the lengthening of the hamstring are explored using end range options.
-
Kinstretch Class:Hamstring and Hip Focus
Focus is on tight hamstrings by working the hips and lower back to create more space capacity and ease the tension that is commonly held in the hamstrings.
-
Kinstretch Class:Squat-Loaded Shoulders-Ankles
Introducing weight to the shoulder cars and more attention to abduction and adduction for their strength and range.Enhancing the squat by filling in strength gaps at the end range of the squat.Introducing dorsiflexion of the ankle to enhance a deeper and more stable squat.
-
Kinstretch Class:Base Pose Butterfly to Pigeon with Hip CARS warmup
An introduction to pigeon base pose from butterfly isometric pathway.A warm up with standing Hip CARS using the wall as a block in a more advanced CARs setting
-
10 Minute Morning CARs:upper body Neck/Shoulders/Scapula/Spine/Elbows/Wrists
A short Upper body Controlled Articular Rotations to get the upper body moving
-
Fast CARs when on the go.
A quick full body CARs to get the body moving when you are in a hurry.
-
Kinstretch Class:Sitting in a Chair CARs and 90/90 base position
CARs sitting in your chair and using it as a tool when you dont have room.Working the many end range options and kinetic stretches of the 90/90 base position.
